A partnership between lifelong coffee grower and environmentalist Marcos Aguilar and the Scandinavian sustainable food and restaurant chain COFOCO, El Olmo is an international environmental pioneer. Coffee is grown in the shade of the forest, processed with energy from the onsite solar farm, and dried in sun beds.
Ten indigenous fruit trees are planted for every coffee tree, and the pulp from the beans is used as a nutrient for the fruit trees. The result is a truly sustainable coffee that leaves a positive environmental impact – while its deep flavour and aroma leave a memorable impression on your taste buds!
